Industry Disrupter


The big names over the past few decades are well known in the floral industry: Florist Transworld Delivery (FTD), 1800Flowers.com, and Teleflora. As a florist, you know of the many challenges associated with going into business with the "the Big Three." But, I will not focus on the negative or the positive. I will just say that the complaints from your local florist may have finally been heard. Enter, BLOOMNATION. BloomNation, is a new company that focuses on the local florist's unique products, and markets these products on a national level. 10 Year Anniversary

South Jersey Florist just had a birthday! We are now 10 years old as of March 29, 2014. Celebrate with us with an extra smile today. As we all know, its getting harder and harder for the Mom & Pop shops to make it in this economy. That is precisely why we ask for that smile. This anniversary is a silent triumph that the small business owner can still endure an unforgiving economy. 

The best part of all, is we thriving! Let's recap for the new audience. South Jersey Florist, henceforth referred to as SJF, has won The Best of the Knot for 2013 and 2014. We were the runner-up in the Best of the Press for the Atlantic City Press for 2013. We doubled the number of Facebook likes since 2012. We have added a Twitter, Pintrest, Instagram, and Google+ presence. Our new loyalty program, Loyal Blocks, is off to a great start with 25 member in the first month. Our sales are up, our customer retention is up, and the savings we pass onto our customers is at an all time high. SJF is a powerhouse to be reckoned with in the years ahead. We hope you will continue to support us with your well wishes and business.

New Logo

We have created a new logo in hopes of making a more memorable statement to our customers. Anyone can look at this image and realize two very important facts, quickly. First, we are located and reachable at www.southjerseyflorist.com. Second, we deal in fresh, vivid flowers. Now our customers know who we are and what we work with, but these are just assumptions. A healthy Report

Currently, South Jersey Florist is better than ever. We have seen increased business in every aspect we deal with, especially weddings. The positive reviews we have recieved on our google profile have exponentially increased the number of brides coming our way. We thank you for the support and ask that you continue to help us out whenever possible, and in turn we will continue to provide "Good old fashion customer service at it's best!"

In the days and weeks to come, I will attempt to start putting up the many pictures we have collected from last year's wedding season and a sneak preview into this year's colors and WOWs. Stay tuned to see all the fun we have been having at our shop.

Recent Weeks

Let us take stock in all that has transpired in the last few weeks.  First, the remainder of September and most of October were truly amazing days for South Jersey Florist.  Our customers have spoken, and they say they  like what we are doing in this shop.  However, the end of October had a rather nasty surprise.  Hurricane Sandy decimated the East Coast.  The storm sent high flood waters that wrecked neighborhoods, damaged property with its high gusting winds, and killed over 80 people.  Our hearts go out to those affected by the storm.

But, now that the storm has passed the clean up process can begin.  I would like to take a moment to say how proud of my state I live in.  New Jersey has already begun its recovery process, and you can see "RE-DO AC" stickers already popping up everywhere.  We know that everyone is working hard to get life back to some semblence of normalcy. We are here to help.  However, some lives will forever be changed.  We are here to help.  Send a friend, loved one, or complete stranger flowers in the difficult time to brighten their day. We are South Jersey Florist, and we are here to help.
